As leaders in the world of fashion retail, Westfield likes to stay on top of current trends – or even better, get amongst them. In 2014, they set out to create an online buzz to compliment their Autumn/Winter launch activity, encouraging people to engage with the brand beyond the shopping centre environment.
The campaign, starring actress Isabelle Cornish and singer Samantha Jade, aims to use social media as a platform to share Australian fashion trends and styles using the flatlays technique - where fans lay out a full outfit rather than model it - covering over Autumn and Winter.
People were invited to submit their 'flat-laid' outfit photo via Instagram, Facebook or Twitter with #flatlaythenation campaign hashtag. All entries were quarantined on our user-friendly CMS, which was customised for quick addition of style information and integrated with Westfield's online store API.
